Woodgate & Clark expands to Dutch Property claims market

Read time: 3 minutes

Under the brand name Woodgate & Clark, Van Ameyde expands its property claims services in the Dutch market to Commercial lines. In the UK, Woodgate & Clark has been a long standing player specialising in Commercial and Complex loss adjusting for years, employing over 100 loss adjusters, building surveyors and claims handlers. Van Ameyde’s Dutch loss-adjusting entity Benjamins & Benjamins as a whole will rebrand into Woodgate & Clark Netherlands.

Since Erwin Dijkhuis joined Van Ameyde’s Dutch property loss adjusting entity as Managing Director, he has made great strides towards expanding the service offering to the commercial market. “The chance to develop this market was an important incentive for me to join Van Ameyde.

The Van Ameyde organisation aims to service the entire commercial and complex loss market internationally under the label of VA Specialists. However, in the Netherlands, commercial property loss adjusting was a service not yet provided,” says Mr Dijkhuis.

For multidisciplinary losses, Woodgate & Clark Netherlands composes dedicated teams of specialists. Technical disciplines are e.g. partly provided by sister company Arntz | van Helden. Mr Dijkhuis explains, “We also cooperate closely with our colleagues at Woodgate & Clark UK. After all, commercial claims tend to not stop at the border.”

In the past few months the team has been strengthened by registered loss adjusters who are experienced in the areas of buildings, machinery, contents and goods, business interruption and liability. “I would like to stress that we will, of course, continue to assist the customers of Benjamins with losses incurred by private individuals and SMEs,” says Mr Dijkhuis.

The service offering is not limited to knowledge-intensive loss adjusting and surveying solutions. Woodgate & Clark’s customers also benefit from technology-driven claims management solutions and agile IT platforms developed by Van Ameyde.
