1946: Where it all began
Henri Van Ameyde stood among those who helped shape the conditions for the Green Card system, supporting cross-border motor insurance and international mobility.
His commitment to quality and consistency was captured in the Blue Book of 1962, which documented the principles and working methods that helped shape the company’s development.
From the 1950s onwards, Van Ameyde expanded across Europe and later into markets including Singapore and Australia. What began with motor claims gradually developed into a much broader range of specialist services.

Van Ameyde was founded 80 years ago. From those beginnings, an international network of specialist companies and brands has grown: Van Ameyde Group.
Van Ameyde is one of those brands. Some companies share the name; others operate under established brands of their own. Each brings distinct expertise and knowledge of the markets it serves.
Our services span valuations and risk assessment, marine surveying and loss adjusting, claims management and settlement support. Across different stages of the claims journey, our companies help clients understand risks, assess losses and manage claims.

Innovation has been part of Van Ameyde’s development from the beginning.
In the 2000s, we introduced ECHO, our claims management platform designed to automate repetitive tasks and support more efficient claims handling.
Today, we continue to build on that operational experience through technology, automation and AI.
Our ambition is to reduce routine work, improve information quality and give specialists more time to focus on complex decisions and the people behind every claim.
