Van Ameyde obtains
share in Intrasurance
Comprehensive IT and BPO solution for the entire insurance value chain
Van Ameyde obtains share in Intrasurance
This strategic move serves two purposes. On the one hand, Intrasurance and Van Ameyde offer their customers a comprehensive digital solution for the entire insurance chain. On the other, customers are enabled to outsource all their activities – from underwriting and policy administration to claims management – to a single service provider.
Intrasurance and Van Ameyde are integrating their Direct Insurance Vision (DIV) and ECHO R2 platforms seamlessly. As a result of this integration, legacy systems and the complexity of insurance products no longer pose an obstacle. Without having to invest heavily in IT, customers are enabled to design and implement their entire online chain and processes in a relatively short period of time.
Frank Cooler, founder and CEO of Intrasurance Group, says, “Van Ameyde’s presence in over 25 countries, helps us strengthen our position in Europe. We believe that technology will make the difference and together we are raising the bar.”
Piet Middelkoop, CEO of Van Ameyde, adds, “Since the introduction of Verzekeruzelf.nl [an online insurance platform], Intrasurance has been the forerunner of digital underwriting. We envisage synergy potential and opportunities for IT-driven services. We can now service the entire insurance value chain, offering a unique proposition in Europe.”
