Van Ameyde sells interest in joint-venture
As from 1 July 2018 Van Ameyde sells its 49% interest in the joint venture Van Ameyde Services to Nationale-Nederlanden (NN). As a result NN insources its claims handling activities under the new name NN Claims Services. The sale of Van Ameyde’s share in Van Ameyde Services involves some 250 staff, who will be employed by NN Claims Services. Van Ameyde continues to supply the IT systems & services, cross-border claims handling and support services to NN Claims Services.
Level of claims handling raised
Van Ameyde and NN look back upon a successful ten-year cooperation. Thanks to the commitment and professionalism of Van Ameyde Services’ staff, the level of claims handling was raised. Customer satisfaction scores increased considerably, which, to a large extent, is attributable to the improvement of processes and IT. This is why NN will continue to use Van Ameyde’s IT platform.
Van Ameyde’s CEO, Piet Middelkoop, confirms this, ‘During our pleasant cooperation, we have been able to improve the claims handling in all respects. By continuing to use Van Ameyde’s IT systems, NN will be able to further improve the service levels of NN Claims Services.’
