Van Ameyde Group appoints Ingrid van Bommel as Chief Financial Officer and Bob de Bruijn as Board Member Marine & Innovation
Van Ameyde Group announces two strategic appointments that mark the next phase in the organisation’s development. Ingrid van Bommel will join as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Board of Directors as of 1 May 2026. At the same time, Bob de Bruijn is appointed Board Member Marine & Innovation, with responsibility for technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Ingrid van Bommel appointed as CFO
Ingrid van Bommel currently serves as Finance Director within Van Ameyde Group. In this role, she has made a significant contribution to the further professionalization of the financial organization, strengthening financial steering and control, and supporting the group’s international growth.
As of 1 May 2026, she will join the Board of Directors as CFO. In this role, she will be responsible for the further development and execution of Van Ameyde Group’s financial strategy, including finance, reporting and the continued strengthening of the financial structure of the international group.
Ingrid is distinguished by her combination of analytical sharpness and people-oriented leadership. She builds teams in which trust, development and ownership are central – an approach that aligns with an organization where people and expertise form the foundation for sustainable growth.
With her appointment, Van Ameyde Group takes a further step in strengthening a diverse and balanced Board of Directors, where different perspectives contribute to better decision-making.
Bob de Bruijn appointed as Board Member Marine & Innovation
Parallel to the appointment of Ingrid van Bommel, Van Ameyde Group strengthens its focus on innovation and technology with the appointment of Bob de Bruijn as Board Member, Marine & Innovation, effective 1 May 2026.
In addition to his role as CFO, Bob has been responsible for the strategic direction of the maritime activities within Van Ameyde Group. This responsibility will remain an integral part of his portfolio in his new role.
In his new role, he will lead the further technological and digital development of the organization, with a clear focus on hyper automation, artificial intelligence and the continued development of the digital organization.
