In the past few years, Van Ameyde Denmark has donated to different charities. This year Van Ameyde Denmark has supported Børnecancerfonden, the Danish Children´s Cancer Foundation. The purpose of the foundation is to help children with cancer in Denmark by providing information about cancer in children, supporting research into treatment and cures and improve the conditions for the patients and their relatives.

“Earlier this year we decided to deviate from the traditional way of donating,” says Van Ameyde Denmark’s Managing Director Alexander Schneevoigt. “We decided to link our donation to our client satisfaction survey by donating a fixed amount for every answer we received. This way we hoped to achieve three things at one go: receiving valuable feedback from our clients, raising awareness of childhood cancer and last but not least financially supporting a good cause”.

The action was a resounding success. “We received a lot of positive feedback from our clients, and more than 75% of them returned the survey almost immediately,” says Marketing Coordinator Martin Felbo, elaborating, “Thanks to the high response rate and the valuable comments and answers of our clients we have met both the quantitative and qualitative targets of our questionnaire.”

Van Ameyde Denmark sincerely hopes that affiliated companies and clients alike are inspired by this project and would consider similar actions. “We urge our colleagues to think of similar ways to donate money to support charities. It has proved to be a simple yet effective method for us, as I hope it will be for others,” says Alexander Schneevoigt.
